1) 26th November: Constitution Day Being Celebrated
•26th November is Constitution Day. On the day in 1949, the constitution was adopted which came into force on January 26, 1950 marking the beginning of a new era in the history of India. From 2015, the Government is observing 26th November as Constitution Day. 

•The HRD Ministry has launched a Digital Signature campaign to generate awareness on fundamental duties enshrined in the Constitution. People can join the campaign by filling a form online.

2) Nation remembers martyrs of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks on its 9th anniversary today
•Rich tributes were paid on Sunday to those who laid down their lives fighting terrorists during the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. 

•On the ninth anniversary of the terror attacks, Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, MoS for Home Mr. Hansraj Ahir, Union minister Kiren Rijiju and other state ministers paid homage to the bravehearts. 

•In 2008, the 26/11 attacks lasted three days, killing 166 people including 18 police officers and two NSG commandos and injuring over 300. 

3) 15th MIFF for Documentary, Short, Animation Film to begin on 28th Jan
•The 15th Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) for Documentary, Short and Animation Film will be organised from January 28 to February 3, 2018 at the Films Division premises in Mumbai. 

•Organised by the Films Division, Information and Broadcasting ministry, the biennial event is the oldest and largest film festival for non-feature films in South Asia. 

4) Nitu wins gold medal at AIBA World Women's Youth Boxing C’ship

•Haryana girl Nitu won the Gold medal in the 48kg category at the AIBA World Women's Youth Boxing Championship on Sunday. In the event being held in Guwahati, Nitu defeated Kazakhstan's Zhazira Urakbayeva in the final. It is India's first Gold since Sarjubala Devi's gold in the 2011 edition of the event. 

•Four more Indian boxers - Jyoti Gulia, Sakshi Chaudhary, Shashi Chopra and Ankushita Bora will also be in the title clashes on Sunday.
